RSM Intensive Outpatient Program
- Intensive, Structured Support (ASAM Level 2.1): Receive the focused therapeutic intensity you need—three or more hours of structured group and individual counseling several days a week—while allowing you to live at home, work, and engage with your community.
- Master Core Recovery Skills: Our program focuses on equipping you with vital tools, including early recovery skills, relapse prevention strategies, assertiveness training, and cognitive techniques for analyzing behavioral patterns.
- Comprehensive Support System: We help build your recovery network by integrating peer support services and family engagement, while actively addressing obstacles in your living environment such as housing, transportation, and vocational needs.
- Evidence-Based Care: Your individualized treatment plan is developed using The ASAM Criteria, the national standard for evidence-based addiction treatment, ensuring your care meets rigorous clinical and medical necessity standards.
- Personalized Treatment: We capture your personal strengths, goals, and specific needs to create an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) within 30 days of admission, ensuring compliance with Tennessee state requirements.
- Who Is IOP For? Our Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for adults (18+) who need structured support but don’t require 24-hour residential care. IOP is a good fit if you are stepping down from a residential program, need more support than weekly counseling, or are balancing recovery with work, school, or family responsibilities.
- What to Expect:Sessions are held multiple days per week in a supportive group setting, guided by trained counselors. You’ll work through topics like triggers and coping strategies, building healthy relationships, managing stress without substances, and setting goals for long-term recovery. Each participant also receives individual counseling to address their specific needs and circumstances.
